The checked, fresh green walnut raw material is typically harvested between June 10-20 and processed into bee feed raw material within 24 hours. This means that green walnuts are washed, sliced and mixed with a mixture of sugars (mono and divalent sugars). When making bee feed, the active ingredients are extracted using a water-sugar process, and lactic acid fermentation is used. The use takes place after the green walnut harvest, either in the same year (2nd semester) or in the following year (1st semester). After the beekeeper feeds the prepared and quality-controlled bee feed to the bees, the bees process it in a similar way to natural nectar. Apiaries have veterinary supervision, which is documented. The product is extracted in the traditional way by spinning, after which nothing is added or taken away. During the production of the product, we do not use preservatives, chemical extractants, flavor enhancers or dyes. Since green walnuts are harvested once a year, the amount of raw material harvested and stored here determines the amount of product that can be produced for a year.
